We are a Limited by Guarantee (Ltd/Gte) company also known as Bioscientifics Research and Development (Ltd/Gte) with its acronym as 'BIOSCIRD'. Existing with us is a functional academic research group domiciled in the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Biopharmacy, University of Uyo, Uyo, Nigeria, known as 'Bioscientifics Research Group.

About School of Instrumentation & Analysis

School of instrumentation & Analysis is under Bioscientifics Research and Development (Ltd/Gte), an organization with five foundational directors,  (three are members in the academia and two in the private/business sector.

The organization is managed by the Chief Executive, Dr. Sunday O. Awofisayo, who is also the Principal investigator of the academic group called Bioscientifics Research Group.

INTERNSHIP TRAINING (IT)/ INDUSTRIAL ATTACHMENT (IA)

 BIOSCIRD promotes educational and scholarship activities on many platforms. Industrial training  (IT)  refers to work experience done while in a formal program of study under a qualified mentor in  another setting to further build the students capabilities.  

 

 

BIOSCIRD  SCHOLARSHIP

INTRODUCING BIOSCIRD  SCHOLARSHIP

  • Duraton: Two weeks
  • Scholarship: Scholarship on food, drugs, water and cosmetics analysis in a well equipped laboratory with modern facilities and equipments.
  • Scholarship Location: BIOSCIRD National Laboratory.

BIOSCIRD launches a scholarship for upcoming biopharmaceutical and  biomedical scientists and other science related discipline. The scholarship is tuition free and only qualified applicants are eligible to enroll in the scholarship program. Our scholarship program is designed to help participants and scholars become a fully trained and confident scientist. At the end of the scholarship program, all successful participants and scholars will be awarded a certificate of intensesd training on food, drugs, water and costmetric analysis.

 

 

 

 

Launching Second Edition of BIOSCIRD  National Online Spelling Quiz Competition 

  • Scope of the tournament: Defining a word to be spelled and its lexical origin an audio record.
  • Purpose of BIOSCIRD Spelling Bee Tournament: To support education, reconnect, refocus, and redirect students in academic extension in Nigeria.
  • Prize: N100,000 & laptop for a winner, N50,000 & laptop for first runner up, N20,000 & laptop for second runner up.
  •  Consolation Prize: Great consolation prizes for all finalists.Apply as a contestant.
REGISTRATION FEE: N2000 only.
  • Hint: Early applicants have more chances of winning as preparatory questions on BIOSCIRD Online Spelling Bee are issued out to help early applicants practice properly before the first day of the tournament.

BIOSCIRD membership is grouped into the  following classification:

BIOSCIRD Full membership (BFM). • BIOSCIRD Volunteered membership (BVM).

BIOSCIRD Full Membership (BFM) is for professionals in the research and educational sector, and also for practicing personnel in the BioScience Industry.

BIOSCIRD Volunteer Membership (BVM) is for volunteers not necessarily professionals but willing to join BIOSCIRD Community outreach to make impacts.

 
BIOSCIRD full membership is designed strictly for professionals in the research and educational sector, and also for practicing personnel in the BioScience Industry. We, at BIOSCIRD, initiate a call for research paper in all areas of Bio-science and other Sciences every month. From original research papers, survey papers, case studies, and academic or scholarly articles to extended versions of previously published papers in conferences, scholarly journals, or academic peer-reviewed international journals; we welcome high-quality work that focuses on research, development, and application in the aforesaid areas. About our Internship / Industrial Attachment Program

BIOSCIRD as a mentor-mentee foundation welcomes upcoming biopharmaceutical and biomedical scientists  to a session of 3, 6, 12 month training  in our laboratories.

The supervised industrial training (SIT) program  at BIOSCIRD  will impart positively on students ensuring their capabilities to implement their professional areas  as their knowledge is improved. The students’ versatility is enhanced and their career boosted. We offer Technical/technological training.

 BIOSCIRD Home Academic Mentorship is available in all the states in Nigeria. Within your location, we will give your child a sound and good home academic mentorship. Our academic mentors are teachers and moral instructors. Your child will be equipped with knowledge and good training.
Our academic mentors (teachers) are graduates with excellent academic performance. We work with the best.  All our academic mentors are screened, trained and well mannered.

SUBJECT SELECTION METHOD:
You shall select one major subject and one minor subject which you or your child needs improvement or lacking behind.

AGE: A pupil or student's age must be 7 to 18 years

TOTAL NUMBER OF SUBJECTS TO SELECT:
One major and one minor (2 subjects in total)

Requirement needed to become a BIOSCIRD Home Academic Mentor
- You must be a graduate in a recognized tertiary institution (Required).
